Paula Dixon of Paula Dixon Design in Houston and her firm designed this boy’s bedroom for when he was a baby with future growth in mind, eliminating the need for a major remodel. “We used blue on the walls to help with tranquility and a playful patterned accent wall wallpaper that reminds us of driving in various patterns, tying into the wall display of vintage cars,” comments Dixon. Her pro tip when designing a nursery or a child’s bedroom? “Think of a theme that is intentional and can be cherished for years to come,” she says.
